A multi-tool is useless if you don't have it when you need it. That's why SOG created the Traveler, a traveler-friendly Sync Multi-Tool. The knife blade has been removed and replaced with scissors making it TSA compliant. These new Syncs are multi-tools designed with a detachable base to be easily worn as a belt buckle, or simply add the clip to the back and clip to a pack strap or boot. (Remove the clip to wear it as a belt buckle.) Anywhere you go, your multi-tool is with you. The tool is easily removed from the base with one hand (instructions included) but stays locked in place during active movement. Releases only when you need it. Fits belts up to 1-3/8" wide.
Tools include scissors, pliers, soft wire cutters, crimpers, 3-sided file, small flat screwdriver, jewelry size screwdriver, and ruler. It measures 1-1/2"x 2-1/2" in place as a buckle. The tool weighs 2.8 oz. and 5 oz. as a belt buckle.
